Zuhaib Yousuf Mir, PDP Youth President Srinagar held a local community meeting at Khonmoh.
The meeting was attended by locals in large numbers where Zuhaib Mir talked about various issues.
In his address he spoke about development of Khonmoh in a holistic way and the need to work towards pressing issues such as drug menace, water scarcity, development of roads and the primary health center.
Zuhaib said that the focus should be on taking on these challenges as a community and not wait for elections.

Urging people to come forward, he emphazied the need of the hour is to come together and help resolve these problems with the resources available to them.
He assured the people in the gathering that regardless the outcome of the impending elections, his party will continue to work for the welfare of the people and focus on channeling and developing the youth.
“We need to work for the betterment of not only Khonmoh but Srinagar and Jammu and Kashmir and those who try to divide us won’t be successful”, Zuhaib said.
Talking about the party President Mehbooba Mufti, Zuhaib said that people need to support the voice raised by the former Chief Minister against injustice and in favour of the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
Speaking to media afterwards, he said people of the Union Territory are uniting behind the cause and hope that is being given by the PDP party chief.
“Today, it is not about elections or power but the identity of Kashmir, the youth of Kashmir and their future and the people of Khonmoh have shown that they are in support of the People’s Democratic Party”, Zuhaib said answering a question.
He thanked the gathering at Khonmoh and promised to work on the issues raised in the meeting.
The community meeting was also attended by Public Welfare Trust President Zahoor Shah, Go-Green Initiative Director Bilal Ahmed Bhat among other area dignitaries.
