Bangladesh and Scotland have qualified for the T20 World Cup Super 12s from Group B.
Bangladesh beat Papua New Guinea (PNG) by 84 runs and qualify for the next round despite losing their first game to Scotland in a surprise result.
Bangladesh made 187 runs while batting first with captain Mahmudullah scoring a quick fire 50 of just 28 balls while Shakib Al Hasan scored 46 of 37 balls.
In response PNG never got going as they were bundled out for 97 runs with Shakib picking up four wickets.
Scotland also qualified after beating Oman by 8 wickets as they look to make a mark in the Super 12s.
Oman were restricted to 122 runs by the impressive Scots with Josh Davey taking 3 wickets.
Scotland eased through their chase with captain Kyle Coetzer scoring 41 of 28 balls to ensure no hiccups in the chase after losing an early wicket.
Matthew Cross and Richie Berrington then saw off the target 3 overs to spare to ensure flawless qualifying for the Scots.
They now reach Super 12s of T20 World Cup with 3 wins on the bounce and will be hoping for an upset or two in the next round.
