Hospital employee beaten by forces in Pulwama

Government forces on Wednesday beat up an employee of the District Hospital Pulwama after the injured CRPF and policemen were brought to the hospital for treatment.

Witnesses said that the agitated forces personnel hit a staff member Khurshid Ahmad on his head.

“Eight CRPF men and five policemen were brought to the hospital. The forces personnel beat up an employee without any provocation,” said a witness.

As employees protested the “high-handedness”, the injured cops were evacuated from the hospital and shifted to District Police Lines.
