At least fifty persons were injured after government forces barged into residential houses and thrashed the inmates in Seer Hamdan area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday.
The residents said that the forces barged into their house at 3 am and beat up the inmates without any provocation.
All the injured are being treated at Sub-district hospital Seer Hamdan, they said, adding that the forces even fired pellets on inmates.
