Kashmir’s Football TrickShot Artist: Shah Huzaib

Shah Huzaib is 19 year old football trick shot artist from Charar Shareef, Budgam, in Kashmir, whose peculiar trick shot videos have taken the internet by storm.

Huzaib has featured on many media outlets both locally and domestically following his exploits, while Indian international footballer Baichung Bhutia shared his video and also showed his appreciation for this young trickster. He will also be seen in India’s Got Talent, India’s biggest talent show.

He began watching football videos in 2016 and picked up a ball inspired by what he saw. Along with his friends Huzaib continued to play football, but he wished to do something extra

Inspired by  Dude Perfect – American Entertainment Sports Group on YouTube – in which they were performing football trick shots, Huzaib’s trick shot journey began on a chilly winter morning in 2018 when he took his football and began practicing some football tricks.

It was after prolonged hard work and rigorous practice that Huzaib began perfecting the art of football trick shots. His video which he named the Sorcerer broke the internet when it hit YouTube. The response and appreciation Huzaib received motivated him to continue his new found passion.

The trickster has continued to make jaw dropping videos of football trick shots that amazes anyone who watches them. Another feather in his cap will be added when he will participate in India’s Got Talent and showcase his skills on a much larger platform.

He has mastered more than 350 trick shots since 2018 and wants to inspire others to take up this unique art form.

Earlier, it used to take him a few days to try and perfect a trick shot but now after regular practice and hard work he is able to perfect a trick after a few hours.

Huzaib says his parents are a big help to him and have supported him in this endeavour.

The reason Huzaib has continued to perform trickshots because for him it is something that gives him pleasure and he says one should do things not for monetary gains but to make oneself happy.

Shah Huzaib says the youth should take up activities that don’t harm them and instead focus on improving themselves and make their parents proud.
