The recently released Bollywood movie ‘The Kashmir Files’ has divided opinion across various sections of society, while some have lauded the efforts of the film maker others have defined it as a one sided narrative vilifying one community.

One of the actors in the movie the veteran Anupam Kher is being appreciated for his role, however, many people on social media are reminding the actor of his tweets done during the congress era and comparing them to his stance after BJP came to power in 2014.
In one of the actor’s tweets dated 03 September, 2011, he wrote, ” problem is NOT with Kashmiri Pandits and Muslims, We have lived together for years peacefully. It’s POLITICIANS my friend :).”
“My heart bleeds of Kashmir. Politics and terrorism has turned heaven into hell for its people… both Hindus and Muslims,” his another tweet dated 29 June 2010 reads.
