The train services in Kashmir will resume with 50 percent capacity from July 1, officials on Wednesday said.
Chief Area Manager (CAM), Kashmir Railways, Sakib Yousuf said that the authorities had decided to continue the suspension order of train services across the Valley till June 30.
The train services from Banihal-Baramulla were scheduled to resume from Thursday. However, its suspension will continue till 30th June.
The train services were suspended till 16th May after surge in Covid-19 cases in Kashmir.
