Pre-Matric, Post Matric, Merit-cum-Means Minorities Scholarship.

Ministry of Minority Affairs implements three Minorities Scholarship Schemes viz. Pre-Matric, Post Matric and Merit-cum-Means based Scholarship Schemes for Minorities as Central Sector Schemes through National Scholarship Portal (NSP) of the Government of India and the Students can apply under these schemes through URL www.scholarships.gov.in. or through the link available on www.minorityaffairs.gov.in. Scholarships are awarded under these Schemes to the economically weaker and meritorious students from the six centrally notified minority communities viz. Buddhist, Christian, Jain Muslim, Sikh, and Zoroastrian (Parsi) pursuing studies in India in a Government or recognized private university/institute/college/school.

Eligibility for Minorities Scholarship

The applicant should be pursuing studies in India in a Government or recognized Private University/Institute/College/School.

The course being pursued should be of a Minimum one-year duration Advertisement

Pre-MatricScholarship

Last date for application submission :15th October, 2022

Last date for application submission :31th October, 2022

Last date for DNO-level verification   :15st November, 2022

Post-Matric Scholarship

Last date for application submission :15th October, 2022

Last date for application submission :31th October, 2022

Last date for DNO-level verification   :15st November, 2022

For Universities/Institutes / Colleges/Schools

All Universities/Institutes/Colleges/Schools having valid AISHE/UDISE/NCVT/SCVT codes, located in the State/UT should be advised to register themselves and get their KYC and Hadar-Demo-Authentication done at the earliest. They should also be advised to get their courses details updated on the NSP at the earliest so that their students can apply and they can verify such applications on the Portal within the timelines. The timelines need to be adhered to strictly.
