Revitalization of Youth Clubs: DC Kulgam inaugurates 4 days Training programme for Volunteers

The District Administration Kulgam in collaboration with RDD has started a four days training cum awareness programme for volunteers of youth clubs at Mini-Secretariat, here.

The training programme was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal-Mohi-Ud Din Bhat.

Addressing the occasion, the DC said that these youth clubs and volunteers will work as leaders and change-makers and will be a source of generating awareness about various schemes among youth and masses.

The DC stated that these volunteers are a resource and urged them to take advantage of the training session. He also impressed upon them to work proactively for elimination of drug menace which has victimized the young generation badly.

During the training cum awareness programme, Resource persons from various departments briefed the participants about various self employment schemes and beneficiary oriented schemes.

ADDC, Showkat Ahmad Rather; ADC, Viqar Ahmed Giri; ACR, Mir Imtiyaz Ul Aziz; ACD, Mohammad Imran Khan and other officers were present on the occasion.
