Aakash Institute Teacher Arrested After Inviting 15-Year-Old Female Student To Hotel.

A teacher Of Aakash Tutorial Gandhi Nagar, was arrested by the police for allegedly making an attempt to outrage the modesty of a 15-Year-young girl student, who he had invited to a hotel in Jammu, on the pretext of a birthday party.

When the girl reached the hotel, she found no people in the room.

Sensing trouble, she asked about the other guests but the accused faculty member, identified as Rambaran Tyagi, started kissing and touching her private parts. Tyagi also tried to lock the room from inside but the girl managed to flee.

In sheer frustration, she narrated the incident to her parents who lodged a police complaint. The Jammu Kashmir Police filed an FIR 151/22 under sections A/354-B-354/511/376 was registered against Tyagi.

Acting swiftly, police traced and nabbed the accused, who was trying to flee to Delhi.

This is not the first incident reported from the Aakash Tutorials.

A number of cases have earlier also been reported with parents avoiding to lodge formal complaints, police said, adding, “We always assure the parents that their identity will be kept secret but still very few cases are reported.”
