Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara sent heartfelt wishes to Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan on the latter’s 30th birthday.
Rizwan has been exceptional for his national team across formats over the last one and half years, having scored tons of runs. In 2021, the right-hander also became the leading run scorer in T20 cricket after amassing in excess of 2000 runs.
Recently, Rizwan and Pujara played together for Sussex in the County Championship. Even as Pujara was on top of his form, Rizwan didn’t flatter to deceive by any means.

Both of them also stitched together an important partnership during one of the matches.
On Rizwan’s birthday, Pujara didn’t forget to send his wishes. Pujara uploaded a picture of them in a Sussex jersey to wish Rizwan. He captioned the picture and wrote, “Happy birthday @iMRizwanPak! Have a fabulous year ahead.”
Earlier, Rizwan heaped praise on Pujara for showing a great level of concentration and focus during the first-class matches in England.
“In my life, the player with the highest levels of concentration and focus I have seen is Younis bhai. So, No.1 is Younis bhai. After that, it was Fawad Alam, but now Pujara is No.2 and Fawad Alam No.3,” Rizwan was quoted as saying.
