The gaming community in India was left perplexed as popular mobile battle royale game Free Fire was all of a sudden been removed from the App Store and Play Store on February 12.
Garena hasn’t revealed any specific reason for the removal of the app from the Google Play Store and Apple App store yet. We expect the game developer to issue an official statement soon.
Although the Free Fire app is unavailable for download in India currently, players who have the game installed on their device can access it. The game is working fine for such players.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has recommended a ban on 54 Chinese mobile applications, including the popular game Garena Free Fire. Interestingly Garena Free Fire is Singapore-based and the developer is not from China. It game was one of the most downloaded games in India last year.
