From LPG Prices to PAN-Aadhaar linking. Rule Changes that will affect you from September 1

From September 1 many rules will change which will have a direct impact on your life. These changes in rules are linked with banking, financial and other sectors. 

New PF rule

PF subscribers must link their Aadhaar card with PF account till September 1 and failure to do so will mean that you will not receive the EPF benefits. If you fail to link the PF account to Aadhaar or your UAN is not Aadhaar verified, then your ECR-Electronic Challan cum Return will not be filled. This means that employees will be able to see their own PF account contribution but they will not receive the employer’s share.

2. PAN linking with Aadhaar card

 The deadline to link Permanent Account Number (PAN) with Aadhaar card is September 30. Earlier the deadline was June 30, 2021 but it was extended by the government.

4. GST new rule

GSTN said in its advisory that Rule-59(6) of Central GST Rules will come into effect from September 1, 2021.

The new rule implements that a “registered person shall not be allowed to furnish the details of outward supplies of goods or services or both in Form GSTR-1 if he or she has not furnished the return in Form GSTR-3B for the preceding two months.”

5. Google Apps restrictions

Google is set to add new restrictions in its Families Policy Requirements on identifiers used in apps that target children. The company has asked the developers to comply by September 1, 2021 except for Ad ID changes.
