MeT forecasts dry weather in J&K till Oct 26
Light snowfall expected on higher reaches of north Kashmir on Oct 21 & 24
The Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Friday forecast dry weather conditions in Jammu and Kashmir till October 26, with possibility of very light snowfall over isolated higher reaches of north Kashmir on Oct 21 and 24.
“On October 18, there will be partly to generally cloudy weather conditions towards late afternoon/evening,” a MeT official said.
He said that the weather will likely remain generally dry from October 19-20, while on October 21 there will be partly to generally cloudy weather conditions towards late afternoon/evening with possibility of brief spell of very light snow over isolated higher reaches of north Kashmir.
During October 22-23, there will be likely partly to generally cloudy with dry weather, he said.
On October 24, there will be partly to generally cloudy weather conditions towards late afternoon/evening with possibility of a brief spell of light snow over isolated higher reaches of north Kashmir, the official added.
He also added that during October 25-26 the weather conditions will likely remain dry.
The MeT advised farmers to continue all farm activities in the meanwhile.
