Cancellation of withheld Recommendation of Mr. Altaf S/o Sh. Bashir Ahmad R/o Gadal, District Anantnag for the post of Sub-Inspector, Commercial Taxes/State Taxes Department (Finance Department

Whereas, the J&K Services Selection Board forwarded the Selection List of the candidates for the post of Sub Inspector, Commercial Taxes/State Taxes Department (Finance Department), Divisional Cadre, Kashmir, advertised under Hon’ble Prime Minister’s package for Kashmiri Migrants, vide Notification No.03 of 2020 dated 01.12.2020, under Item No.021 to Secretary to the Government, Department of Disaster Management, Relief and Rehabilitation, vide this office letter No. SSB/Secy/Sel/M/02/2021/6307-13 dated 23.09.2021 and;

Whereas, among the selectees, the recommendation of a candidate namely Mr. Altaf S/o Sh. Bashir Ahmad R/o Gadal, District Anantnag, figuring at Serial No.32, under ST category was kept withheld for want of certain clarification and;

Whereas, the above candidate submitted the documents for release of his recommendation for the post which were examined vis-a-vis requirements for the advertised posts/conditions in the advertised Notification and it was observed that the marks sheet/degree certificate produced by the candidate has been issued subsequently and thus, he is not fulfilling the educational qualification required for these posts on the cut-off date and;

Whereas, the matter was placed in the 214th Board Meeting, which, taking note of the above deficiencies and the fact that sufficient opportunities have been afforded to the candidate, decided to cancel his withheld recommendation.
