Burglars on Sunday night struck at a private bank in Hatli Morh area of Kathua district looting around Rs.1 crore cash, officials said on Monday.
Reports reaching a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the bank is located at Hatli Morh in Kathua district. The burglars looted it in the intervening night of Sunday-Monday.

The officials told the agency that the burglars managed to reach the cash chest and loot the cash, adding that some amount was left behind in chest while some amount was recovered from rooftop of bank and remaining amount is missing which is believed to be around one crore rupees.
Meanwhile, Police said that investigation into the matter is going on and massive manhunt has been launched to track the accused involved in the act. (KNO)
