The operation theatre at Bone & Joint Hospital Barzulla has been made functional 18 days after the massive fire incident at the facility.

The operation theatre has been constructed within two weeks and is now open for the patients.
The main building of Bone and Joint hospital at Barzulla was destroyed in a devastating fire incident on March 04 evening that led the authorities to move all the patients to other nearby hospitals for treatment.
The Out Patient Department (OPD) services were already started for patients from Mar 07.
Dr Mian Suhail, Medical Superintendent (MS), Bone and Joint hospital said that operation theatre was fully damaged but now it is has been made functional for the patients.
“We have constructed the operation theatre within two weeks. We have new equipments in the theatre,” he said. He said that soon after the fire incident, Out Patient Department (OPD) services were also started.
“The main operation theatre was already functional, but another operation theatre has been made functional for conducting surgeries smoothly,” he added.
