The three Kashmiri students booked for sedition for allegedly sharing anti-national posts on social media after Pakistan’s victory over India at the ICC T20 World Cup, have filed a bail plea in Allahabad High Court.

In a tweet, Nasir Khuehami, who is National Spokesperson Jammu and Kashmir Student Association informed, ” Our Lawyer Adv Madhuvan Chaturvedi have moved Allahabad High Court for three Kashmiri students booked under sedition with a bail plea.”

He stated that in the bail petition on behalf of students, Adv said that they have been forced to directly move the High Court with their bail plea as they have been denied legal assistance by different associations of lawyers in Agra & because of threat and fear.

Earlier the three students had their judicial remand extended till December 7th by Agra Court.

The accessed have been identified as Arsheed Yusuf, Inayat Altaf Sheikh, and Showkat Ahmed Ganai.
