“Two of them caught hold of us, tied us with a rope, and dragged us. They were demanding cash. I somehow managed to untie the rope and alarmed the locals. In the process, I sustained injuries in my hand and neck,” one of the girls who was attacked said.

“Our aunt was sleeping and she along with her sister was present in the room. The male members of the family had gone to  offer Friday prayers” she said.
