Kashmir content creation on YouTube has been a hit with creators emerging from every corner of the valley. Vlogging, comedy, roasting, singing, food, you name it Kashmir has every YouTube flavour within its universe.
The content Kashmiri creators are producing day in and day out is commendable especially with frequent internet shutdowns in the valley.
What’s more is that the content at times is on par or even better than what we have seen across the platform.
Here Kashmir Digits ranks top 10 YouTubers from Kashmir.
The list is based on the number of subscribers and overall views on YouTube.
1) Kashmiri Rounders

Kashmir’s band of entertainers are one of the biggest YouTube content creators brothers.
Aamir Mir and Umer Mir, along with their cousin, Owais Mir, uploaded a comedy video to Facebook which immediately went viral.
Aamir Mir, famously known as Maahi Aamir, a graduate back then took charge of script writing, direction and editing and thus began the Journey of Kashmiri Rounders.
The group is based in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
2) Kashmiri Kalkharab

While Showkat handled customers at a shop in humorous way, his cousin Pervaiz recorded it in his smartphone and uploaded it to YouTube.
Within a week the video went viral and the duo along their other cousin Yawar Wani decided to go ahead make more such video and uploading it.
Their videos are a massive hit and people have absolutely loved their work in bringing a smile to their faces.
The group now comprises of 6-7 people and is based in Shalteng, Srinagar.

For a scene in video Kashmiri Kalkharab required a driver who could drive bus and hence approached one of their member, Yawar Wani’s brother Ishfaq Ahmad who drove a school bus for livelihood.
Although a bit nervous at first, but the act went well enough to lure him into thinking of starting his own channel.
Sahir Saqlain and Arsalan joined him in his dream. The group is based in Shalteng, Srinagar too.

Belonging to North Kashmir’s Sopore area, A group of 4 friends: Showkat, Aatif, Junaid and Mudasir have made it big on YouTube with their acting skills and talent.

Their videos are always accompanied by social messages at the end which are heart warming.
