Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha on Sunday said that the administration was trying to facilitate everyone including Amarnath Yatris and those transporting perishable goods so that no one faces any difficulty along the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway.

Talking to reporters after visiting Pantha Chowk Yatri Niwas today, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), LG Sinha said that directions have been passed to the concerned quarters not to stop trucks loaded with fresh fruit on the national highway.

He said that a traffic plan has been devised so that no one faces any difficulties including the Yatris. “Trucks will only be stopped when Yatris would be coming from Jammu towards Srinagar and vice-versa. Trucks loaded with perishable goods would not face any inconvenience,” he added.
